Microsoft Word – watermarks not covering all sections

When you create a watermark using one of the built-in options found from the Page Layout tab, and the Watermark dropdown in the Page Background group, you may find that if your document doesn’t appear on some of the sections, which can be frustrating if you want a watermark on every page in your document.

To get round it, from the Watermark dropdown, click Custom Watermark. The Custom Watermark dialog box will be displayed.

Create your own text watermark, then click OK. The watermark should be applied to the whole document.
