Sending an Outlook e-mail from another e-mail address

Sometimes you may need to send an e-mail on behalf of someone else, using their e-mail address, or you may have more than one e-mail address and use one that isn’t your usual Outlook account address.

To send an e-mail from a different e-mail address:

  1. Start a new e-mail in the usual way.
  2. Click Options, then in the Fields group, click Show From. The From field will be shown above the To field.
  3. Either type the relevant e-mail address in the From text box or click the From button and select it from your Global Address List or Contacts list.
  4. Finish and send the e-mail in the usual way.

About jdonbavand

I am a trainer of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Crystal Reports. I have called my blog "If Only I'd Known That...." because I hear it so many times in training sessions. In fact, if only I had a £100 (or 150 Aussie dollars)for every time someone says "If only I'd known that." ....
