Crystal Reports – change ‘$0.00’ to ‘-‘

To change the $0.00 to $- , right-click the relevant field and select Format – Field. On the Number tab, click Customize.

On the Number tab, in the Show Zero Values as dropdown, select the dash ‘-‘.

Then go to the Currency tab, check the Enable Currency Symbol box if there isn’t a tick in there already, then click the Formula button to the right of it. Input the following formula:

if {tablename.fieldname}=0 then crNoCurrencySymbol else crFloatingCurrencySymbol

Click Save and Close, then click OK twice.
