Microsoft Outlook – Sharing Contact Groups

If you have gone to the effort of creating an Outlook contact group, you may want others to be able to use it too.

To share your Outlook contact group, from within Outlook, click Contacts, then click on the Contact group that you want to share.

Right-click and from the shortcut menu that appears, click Forward Contact – As an Outlook Contact. A new email will be opened, with the contact group as an attachment. Complete the email in the usual way, then click Send.

To be able to use the contact group you have sent, the recipient should open the email containing the attachment, then click Contacts. Drag the attachment to the folder in which they want to save the contact group. The contact group entries will be saved.
