Microsoft Word – removing styles from the Styles Gallery

By default the Styles Gallery in Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Word 2010, Microsoft Word 2013 and Microsoft Word 2016 contains styles that you may never use. If you want to stop specific styles from being shown in the gallery so you can more easily see the styles you require, right-click on a style you no longer want to appear and click Remove from Quick Style Gallery. The style will no longer be displayed.
